VILLA HORIZON

The six bedroom villa with six individual structures for each is surrounded by a dual cantilevered pool.  The sprawling plan creates a constant circumnavigation of both the architectural features and the beautiful natural setting.  Atop an outcropping in Uluwatu Bali, over the sea and seemingly floating over the pool these design elements create a constantly evolving play of light and reflectivity.  Dual Axis symmetry of the architecture and the pool reaching out to meet the sky render a mirror that bounces color off of the white architecture.  By night the parametric privacy screen is backlit causing a vibration of light that emanates like a wave from the center of each building.  Retractable glass walls allow the common areas at the oceanfront to be open to the climate or closed off for exact climate control.
